One Dead in Early Morning West Fort Worth Shooting; Homicide Detectives Investigating

FORT WORTH, Texas — Fort Worth police are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred early Tuesday morning on the city's west side. According to investigators, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area of NW 25th Street and Ross Avenue. When officers arrived, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite lifesaving efforts by first responders, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene

The Fort Worth Police Department's Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation and is working to determine what led to the shooting. Detectives are interviewing witnesses, collecting evidence, and searching for information that could help identify the person or persons responsible.
