Chris Howell Foundation Hosts Successful Health and Wellness Fair in Dallas

The Chris Howell Foundation recently hosted a Health and Wellness Fair at the Highland Hills Branch Library in Dallas, providing a valuable service to the community. The event offered a range of resources, including fresh produce, school supplies, free health screenings, veteran resources, kids' haircuts, overdose prevention education with Narcan kits, and Nike shoes for youth. Fort Worth ISD Sees Gains in Preliminary A–F Ratings, F-Rated Schools Reduced by More than Hal

According to preliminary 2024–25 A–F accountability data, the number of the district’s F-rated schools dropped by more than half and the number of A-rated schools increased significantly. Data shows FWISD maintained a solid C average, with an increase in accountability score from 70 to 73. “Over the past 10 months, Fort Worth ISD has taken bold, student-centered steps to improve academic outcomes, all aligned to our newly adopted Strategic Plan,” said Superintendent Dr. Karen Molinar. “We’re not just talking about change, we’re making it happen.
