Fort Worth ISD Prepares to Welcome Back 70,000+ Students for the 2025-26 School Year

For thousands of Fort Worth ISD students and families, Tuesday marks the first day of the 2025–26 school year. To celebrate, Fort Worth ISD Superintendent Dr. Karen Molinar will join City of Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker at M.L. Phillips Elementary School to officially launch the year.

The two leaders will host a brief news conference to share their vision for the year ahead, including recent STAAR results that show encouraging gains and student successes across the district, before touring classrooms and visiting with teachers and staff who are ready to inspire learning from day one.
